Sculpted in resin, this female figure is entirely covered in carefully modelled orchid petals, as if her skin had transformed into bloom. Her arms stretch back in a restrained gesture, as though preparing to launch herself from the earth into the invisible. Her face and head are hidden beneath the same petals, blending her identity with nature itself. At the crown, two orchids bloom like a silent diadem. The texture of the petals comes alive under crimson glazes, evoking at once flesh, flower, blood, and rebirth. The work is a metaphor for the longing to transform — the soul quietly seeking to blossom from within.
